Nguyen Thanh Long

Mr. Long started as a lead QS at Davis Langdon & Seah Vietnam in 2005, and rose to the position of Deputy Director by the time Mr. Long left in 2011. During this time, Mr. Long has held many positions. Multi-tasking position performing all QS services throughout the entire project development process from conceptual design to construction settlement. Then in 2012, Mr. Long moved to work for 2 years at Turner & Townsend Company in the position of senior project and cost manager of many different projects for both large, famous global customers and large companies. Local customers are demanding and highly demanding. Since 2014, Mr. Long focuses on VinaQS to provide an international quality QS/Cost Management service in domestic and foreign markets.

Vuong Thi Thuy Duong

Vuong Thi Thuy Duong (PhD) is currently a lecturer at the Department of Construction Management, Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, Central University of Civil Engineering (MUCE), Phu Yen province, Vietnam. In 2011, she graduated as an engineer in Construction Economics from Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and then continued to conduct master’s and doctoral studies in Construction Economics in the Russian Federation from from 2012 to 2018. She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching, researching and guiding students at MUCE. Vuong Thi Thuy Duong conducts research on Construction Economics, Construction Finance, Risk Management, Project Management, Construction Auditing, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Tran The Nhan

Mr Nhan is a chartered quantity surveyor (MRICS) working on quantum in construction disputes, with around 30 years in cost management and contract administration. He is currently instructed as quantum expert by counsel for the Claimant in a construction arbitration in Viet Nam, reporting under the IBA Rules on the Taking of Evidence in International Arbitration (2020) and the RICS Practice Statement and Guidance Note, Surveyors Acting as Expert Witnesses (4th ed, 2023). He also sits as Engineer under Sub-Clause 3.5 of the FIDIC 1999 Red Book on multiple contract packages for high-rise developments in Ha Noi, determining matters between the Employer and the Contractor fairly and in accordance with the Contract. He trained as a bridge and structural engineer, so he works from the technical record itself when quantifying loss. Mr Nhan holds the Grade 1 Construction Cost Engineer Certificate and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He is currently an Associate at DLS Consultant. In April 2026 he completed the FIDIC Academy course on Making and Writing of Dispute Board Decisions and Opinions.

Do Hieu Thuan

Do Hieu Thuan, a Quantity Surveyor with over 11 years of QS experience in Vietnam, currently serving as Quantity Surveying Manager at VinaQS and a Professional Member of RICS (MRICS). From cost planning and quantity take-off to hands-on cost verification, FIDIC contract dispute resolution, expert witness engagements, and variation assessment and cost substantiation, I have worked across a diverse range of project types — including hotels, resorts, residential infrastructure, industrial facilities, high-rise residential developments, and retail properties throughout Vietnam. To me, quantity surveying is not just about the numbers — it’s about safeguarding cost transparency and value for clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
