BAC THUY

Bac Thuy has participated in drafting of Laws, Decrees and Circulars on construction investment, public procurement, public investment, construction contracts, construction investment cost management, etc. He is an expert for a number of Large investment project in Vietnam. He was expert/investigator in many large construction cases and disputes, as well as a lecturer in training courses for ministries, local authorities, the State Auditor, and businesses on the management of construction investment costs and construction contracts.

Mrs. Thao is a Vietnamese-qualified lawyer admitted to the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association and a FIDIC Certified Contract Manager (FCCM). She is also one of four professionals in Vietnam accredited as FIDIC Certified Trainers for FIDIC’s principal contract forms, including the Red, Yellow, Silver, Green and Pink Books and their related forms. She has completed FIDIC Academy’s specialized training program, “Making and Writing of DB Decisions & Opinions”.
Mrs. Thao is currently Counsel at a top-tier law firm in Vietnam, where she focuses on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects and related disputes. Before entering private practice, she served as Head of Legal and Contract Management at one of Vietnam’s leading construction contractors. She is also a member of the Inspection Committee of the Society of Construction Law Vietnam (SCLVN).
With extensive local and international training in construction law and contracts, combined with hands-on experience in risk assessment, contract drafting and negotiation, Mrs. Thao has advised on a wide range of major civil, industrial and infrastructure projects in Vietnam with diverse funding sources. Her practice covers regulatory and contractual compliance, contract administration, claims and dispute resolution, as well as practical legal and contractual advice throughout negotiations and project implementation.
Mrs. Thao’s contributions in construction law has been recognized in The Legal 500’s GC Powerlist Vietnam in 2024 and 2025, which highlights the country’s most influential in-house counsel.

TRUNG NGUYEN

Trung has experience in arbitration in construction disputes both in English and Vietnamese at the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC). In addition to VIAC, he is also on the list of arbitrators of arbitration centers AIAC (Malaysia), BDAC (Brunei), and THAC (Thailand).
Morever, he also has experience in organizing and operating the Dispute Arbitration Board (DB). He is a member of DRBF (International Dispute Arbitration Board Forum), and features a FIDIC Adjudicator (FCA) certificate. HANG PHAM

Pham Thi Thu Hang is one of two Vietnamese qualified to act as an Adjudicator after completing FIDIC – JICA Training/Assessment Workshop for Adjudicators in 2012. She received her BE and MSc from Transport and Communication University in Vietnam. Hang has worked on the translation team for FIDIC Red Book, Green Book, Silver Book, Yellow Book, White Book, Pink Book since 2002. She is currently Vice Chairwoman of the Society of Construction Law- Viet Nam (SCLVN) and is also working for the Vietnam Monitoring Committee for ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE).

Based on a strong background of construction-oriented professional achievements and over 20 years of experience in the local market in Vietnam, Long Nguyen is now a construction tender and contract expert and involves in day-to-day management of co-founded VinaQS Company Limited after jointly developing it to a USD-million-revenue QS consultant in Vietnam.

His expertise is mainly cost planning, procurement analysis, contract advisory, dispute prevention and mediation as well as providing comprehensive and thorough data on Vietnam market.

Bích Vân is a Senior Manager – Cost & Contract specializing in construction cost, contract, and bidding management for large-scale projects. With 15 years of professional experience, Vân brings deep expertise in managing major contract packages using the FIDIC contract framework—covering the entire lifecycle from contract preparation and administration through to final account settlement. Academically, Vân holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Project Management (MSPME) completed across three European universities. Professionally, Vân is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), a FIDIC Certified Contract Manager (FCCM), and a FIDIC Certified Trainer (FCT), leveraging international standards and rigorous procedures to drive excellence in project and commercial management.
