Anel Idriz

Anel Idriz is a construction delay and programming expert specialising in the operation and dispute implications of NEC contracts across Asia Pacific. He advises employers, contractors, and subcontractors on complex infrastructure and building projects, with particular expertise in critical path methodology, prospective and retrospective delay analysis, and the contractual function of the Accepted Programme under NEC. Anel has extensive experience analysing compensation events, early warning compliance, programme acceptance issues, float management, and concurrency within the NEC framework. He regularly examines how NEC’s prospective assessment model interacts with retrospective forensic delay methodologies in arbitration, particularly where contemporaneous programme management is challenged. ANIL CHANGAROTH (FCIArb FSIArb FPIArb) an internationally accredited Mediator (Investor State, Multicultural, Commercial and Family), Arbitrator, Adjudicator, Dispute Board and Restorative Justice practitioner, is an Advocate and Solicitor of Singapore (1995), Solicitor of England and Wales (2007). An associate professor of Southeast University Law School, Nanjing, China

Dr. DAI, Qingkang is an associate professor of Southeast University Law School, Nanjing, China, and the FIDIC Certified Adjudicator listed on the FIDIC President’s List of Approved Dispute Adjudicators. He is also the Certified EnvSP and Trainer certified by the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure (USA). Dr. Dai is an arbitrator of construction disputes at Jiangsu (Nanjing) International Commercial Arbitration Center and some other arbitration institutions. He taught international commercial arbitration course at Levin College of Law, University of Florida in 2019 and 2023 as the visiting legal professor. Dr. Dai is also a practicing lawyer and was Listed as one of the Top 100 Lawyers for China Practice in 2017 by China Business Law Journal.

Do Khoi Nguyen

Partner at YKVN, Head of International Arbitration

Do Khoi Nguyen (Wynn) is Head of International Arbitration at YKVN, a listed arbitrator of SIAC and VIAC, and a dual-qualified lawyer in Washington State and Vietnam, with nearly 20 years of experience in high-value, complex disputes.

He has acted as counsel and arbitrator in arbitrations under SIAC, VIAC, ICC, UNCITRAL, GAFTA, SCMA, and LMAA rules, with particular experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, and international trade disputes, including those arising out of FIDIC and EPC contracts.

Since 2012, he has been instrumental in the establishment and development of YKVN’s Singapore office. YKVN is the first and, to date, the only Vietnamese law firm ranked in the GAR 100, with consecutive listings in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, and recognized by Benchmark Litigation 2024 as “Outstanding” in international arbitration.

He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnamese edition of the FIDIC 2017 suite and the FIDIC 2021 Short Form Contract (Green Book).

Ms. Dinh Anh Tuyet is the Founding Lawyer and Managing Partner of IDVN Lawyers.

She is also the lead partner of the Dispute Resolution practice at IDVN. Ms. Tuyet has over 25 years of legal practice in Vietnam, with a strong focus on international commercial dispute resolution, international investment disputes, court litigation, energy, infrastructure, and policy development.

In recent years, Ms. Tuyet has represented clients in complex and high-stakes commercial disputes, helping them achieve favorable outcomes. Notable matters include representing a state agency in a dispute concerning a waste treatment service contract, which was concurrently submitted to Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) arbitration and mediation at Vietnam Mediation Centre (VMC); assisting a Vietnamese state-owned enterprise in resolving issues arising from renewable energy projects; and providing legal opinions to another state-owned company in relation to proceedings before SIAC arbitration.

In addition, Ms. Tuyet is recognized as one of the few Vietnamese lawyers with particularly deep expertise and extensive experience in international investment dispute resolution. She has led IDVN’s Dispute Resolution team in representing the Government of Vietnam in investor-state arbitration cases where the Government acted as respondent.

Ms. Tuyet is listed as an arbitrator with the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), a founding member of the International Arbitration Centre under the International Financial (IFC), an is a CEDR-accredited mediator, and serves as a mediator at the VMC. She has also been appointed as an arbitrator by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in multiple arbitration cases involving Vietnam.

Ediyanto Arief

Founder of EA Law Firm

Dr. Ediyanto Arief is the founder of EA Law Firm, a registered Lawyer at the Indonesian Advocates Congress (KAI) who is active in litigation and non-litigation. Several times as an expert witness in corruption trials, to explain Construction Management. Several times as an expert witness in civil cases regarding construction disputes. In the field of engineering, he serves as Chairman of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) for the Banten Region, and has been active for the past 25 years handling consultant work related to planning, supervision, construction management of various buildings, water resources and two large dam constructions. Active as one of the administrators at the Society of Constructions Law Indonesia (SCL Indonesia), as a Secretary at the PADSK, as a lecturer at the Engineer Profession Program at a State University in Banten Province and as a lecturer at the Law Construction Magister Universitas Pekalongan. Frédéric Gillion is a partner within Pinsent Masons’ Construction Advisory & Disputes team and is based in Singapore. Over his 25-year long career, he has advised on all aspects of construction projects, including in Dispute Board, expertise and arbitration proceedings, and provided legal support on live construction projects in a wide range of construction sectors, including general infrastructure, transport, water and wastewater, and energy.

Mr. Nguyen Bac Thuy has more than 20 years of experience in construction and has been proactively involved in legal aspects of construction investment in Vietnam. Nguyen Dac Phuoc

Nguyen Dac Phuoc graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Transport and Communications and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa has been a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law in Viet Nam from September 2019, where she teaches and researches international business law, international commercial arbitration law, the law on digital technology application, and the negotiation and drafting of international commercial contracts. Nguyen Phuong Trinh

Trinh Nguyen, FCIArb, is a Vietnamese–Australian dual-qualified lawyer and international dispute resolution practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in cross-border investment and construction projects. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa has been a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law in Viet Nam from September 2019, where she teaches and researches international business law, international commercial arbitration law, the law on digital technology application, and the negotiation and drafting of international commercial contracts. From April 2022, she has also served as a reviewer for the Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction which is indexed in Scopus and ranked in the 1st quartile for 2020–2025) of the American Society of Civil Engineering. Dr. Hoa is also currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Society of Construction Law in Viet Nam. Trinh Nguyen, FCIArb, is a Vietnamese–Australian dual-qualified lawyer and international dispute resolution practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in cross-border investment and construction projects. She founded TNP Law in 2007 having practiced at international law firms and served as a partner at a major national firm. She has acted as lead counsel in a multi-million-dollar international arbitration arising from offshore construction works and as co-counsel in cross-border disputes. In 2022, she assisted the largest Vietnamese conglomerate in coordinating the drafting and administration of construction contracts for a multi-billion-dollar overseas manufacturing project.
Trinh is listed as an arbitrator with KCAB International and the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), and as a mediator with the Vietnam Mediation Center (VMC). She is also an Australian Nationally Accredited Mediator under the AMDRAS scheme and maintains a principal practising certificate in Victoria, Australia.

Anel Idriz

A former director of an international consultancy, he now teaches on the Massey University’s Master of Construction in Construction Law. Tung Tran (Tony) is currently a Partner at CNC Counsel, a member of the Society of Construction Law Vietnam (SCLVN), and Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) with many years of legal practice experience in the construction, real estate, and international arbitration.

Before joining CNC, Tung worked as an in-house counsel for leading Vietnamese real estate developers and construction contractors. He has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing FIDIC contracts, as well as providing legal advice for large-scale construction projects, including infrastructure projects in Vietnam such as airports, urban railways, and expressways. Ms. Nay Yee Lynn is an Advocate and Certified Arbitrator with extensive experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution in Myanmar. She earned her LL.B from Dagon University in 2004 and subsequently received a Diploma in International Law (2006), a Diploma in Business Law (2007), and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Global English (2008) from the University of Yangon.

She began practicing law in 2006 and was admitted as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar in 2014. Her legal practice encompasses civil and criminal matters across multiple levels of courts, demonstrating both breadth and depth of expertise.

Mr. Chau Viet Bac, LL.M., Lawyer currently serves as Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat and Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC). He is also a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association and a member of Executive Committee of the Vietnam Society of Construction Law (SCLVN). With nearly 20 years of experience in dispute resolution, his areas of practice focus on arbitration, mediation and commercial law.
During his tenure at VIAC, Mr. Bac has been involved in the administration and handling of a large number of domestic and international disputes, including complex and high-value cases conducted under the VIAC Rules of Arbitration as well as ad hoc proceedings under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. He also contributed to the drafting of the VIAC Rules of Arbitration in 2011 and 2017.
