At the PADSK & SCLI 2024 International Conference ” Synchronizing the application of FIDIC Contracts with specific related project country’s regulation to avoid disputes”, held in Indonesia in 18-19 July 2024, Mr. Bui Thai Binh, a Senior Specialist, Investment and Construction Contracts Division, State Authority of Construction Economics., attended and delivered a speech on “The case of Vietnam from state management perspective”
He discussed Vietnam’s legal regulations on resolving disputes in construction contracts compared to FIDIC. Additionally, Mr. Binh highlighted the main causes of disputes in construction contracts in Vietnam within Domestic Public Funded Projects, Domestic Private Projects, and ODA Funded Projects. From this, he demonstrated the challenges and obstacles in resolving construction contract disputes in Vietnam (legal, operational, financial,.. ).
