Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Member of the Standing Committee of The Vietnam Society of Construction Law (SCLVN), Lecturer at the Faculty of International Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, attended and delivered a speech on “Regulation on dispute resolution in Viet Nam” at the PADSK & SCLI International Conference held in Indonesia in July 2024.
Within the framework of the Conference on “Synchronizing the Application of FIDIC Contracts with Specific National Regulations Related to Projects to Avoid Disputes,” Dr. Hoa addressed the provisions of Vietnamese law on dispute resolution in construction contracts (Art.146, par. 8, point b, Construction law; Art. 45, Degree No. 37/2015/NĐ-CP).
Additionally, she highlighted legal provisions related to arbitration, such as dispute resolution clauses, the jurisdiction of arbitrators, and more.
Moreover, Dr. Hoa discussed dispute resolution involving state organizations (as stipulated in Clause 3, Art.99 of the Civil Code).
